Data Deletion
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Waterzy is a platform that water vendors in Kerala use to run their deliveries, and customers order from their vendor through WhatsApp. Anyone whose data Waterzy holds can ask for it to be deleted, and this page explains how.
What we hold about you
- Your name and phone number.
- Your delivery address and any delivery notes.
- Your order and payment history with your vendor.
- Your WhatsApp conversation with the Waterzy ordering number.
How to request deletion
- Email admin@waterzy.in from the email address on your account, or
- Send a WhatsApp message to the Waterzy ordering number asking for your data to be deleted.
- Either way, include the phone number your account uses, so we can match the request to your record.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request.
- We delete your data within 30 days.
- We send you a confirmation once it is done.
Some records may be kept where the law requires it — for example, tax and accounting records of completed sales. Those are kept only for as long as the law demands, and are not used for anything else.
One thing to know about WhatsApp
The content of your messages also sits with Meta, on WhatsApp’s own servers. Deleting your data from Waterzy does not remove it there. To have it removed from WhatsApp, make a separate request to WhatsApp through the app’s settings or WhatsApp’s own help pages.
Vendors
A vendor closing their Waterzy account should email the same address, admin@waterzy.in. A vendor’s business records are deleted separately from their customers’ data.
